Module Ten: Understanding When to Escalate  
Providing great customer service does not mean that you have to put up  
with threats, intimidation, or vulgar language from customers. If  
customers are out of control, you need to take over the situation and  
protect yourself.  
Letting your customers set your standards  
is a dangerous game, because the race to  
the bottom is pretty easy to win.
